A very unique product… one that makes a perfect gift. I’ve tried the Amarone and it drinks beautifully. Just remember to decant for at least 2-3 hours. Really a beautiful wine and an amazing experience.

I had the pleasure of tasting the Sauvignon Blanc at the Soiree on the Key party, hosted by Dedushka Zarko, the Chief of the Wine of the Sea. I was truly blown away by the incredible quality and the unique method of production.
The submersion aging process is fascinating, and it’s impressive how only select wines are chosen for this innovative technique. The Sauvignon Blanc’s vibrant and crisp flavors were evident, showcasing the exceptional characteristics that make it a perfect candidate for aging in the Adriatic. I appreciated the meticulous attention to detail, from the special composite corks to the double wax seals ensuring the integrity of each bottle during submersion. This gives the wine a distinct edge, setting it apart from others.
Overall, my experience with Wine of the Sea was unforgettable, and I can’t wait to share more with friends and fellow wine enthusiasts. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this incredible journey!

Beautifully Bespoke Beverage

From the stunning packaging to the enchanting flavors, every detail was a testament to the artistry of this unique wine.
I had the privilege of attending an exclusive elevated wine dinner at the Butcher Private club featuring Wine of the Sea. From the moment I saw the packaging of this fine wine, I knew it was something very special. The box was wrapped perfectly in colorful artwork expressing the concept of this unique spirit. To my surprise the bottle within was covered in coral, barnacles and what one might expect from a wine perfectly aged and enhanced by the bounty of the Adriatic Sea.
Then the tasting began. We started with their sparkling Penina with, believe it or not, real 22kt gold flakes that danced around the glass. It was crisp and clean with a touch of sweetness. When the dinner began, each course was complimented by one of their premier vintages and the story behind it. At the next table a gentleman boasting a cellar holding 12,000 bottles, exclaimed that he would take a case of the Italian Barolo.
I have gifted their wine to over a dozen people since and the compliments keep coming in! If you are looking for the gift for that discerning friend who you believe has everything, look no farther.
